My boys.

So heres the deal... I can never get my dog Apollo to sit still for a photo. It's like I pull out the camera and he goes CRAZY. Well FINALLY, the other day he was being really laid back and my camera was sitting right next to me so I managed to get a few of him being very calm! Ares on the other hand loves getting his pictures taken!! So here they are! Enjoy!

Well.... 67 days. Our guys will be home in about 67 days! It might seem like a short time to many people but to us... ETERNITY. It's been an extremely long year for us and I'm really looking forward to it being over! I've been getting a little anxious because I have so much more to do before Paul comes home. I need to finish painting my bedroom, go on a crazy cleaning rampage, hopefully nurse my grass to health... the list goes on.
Let me tell you a story... When I first moved here I pretty much kept to myself. Anytime I went out and did something it was with Paul and the movers. I didn't really have my own circle of friends. Even after living here over a year... maybe a friend or two. I work with strictly guys so it's pretty hard to have girlfriends at my job. So then when all of the guys are getting ready to leave on an airplane to begin this long year I met an awesome family..... The Lukens, and for that I thank this deployment. ((Who'd have thought I would be thanking the deployment for anything, Right?)) But in all seriousness. If it weren't for our husbands, brothers, and sons deploying I would have never met such wonderful people. Its a great feeling to have people like them who care about you. I get so excited when I can tell Paul them I'm out and about and keeping busy.. Alot of the time my stories include the Lukens! Just thought I would tell you I feel like a pretty lucky girl!!!
