Where to begin....? Deployment? Yes! Deployment.. I'm currently headed into month 10 of this deployment. My husband Paul was sent to Afghanistan in November of 2007. If someone would have told me how hard it would have been I wouldn't have believed them. Oh wait.. They did, and well, I guess I knew it was going to be hard but I 
never could have imagined what hard really was. I salute the men and women that do this over and over with their heads held high. The ones with children..... I can't imagine.

I am forever greatful to the people who are here with me and going through this same deployment with me. Without them... this would be even more lonely, and I'm not really sure if I could bare that.
Today I met up with some of the girls who also have husbands deployed. Its awesome to have someone understand how you are feeling even when you think you are in the boat alone. Its nice to be able to laugh at all that has happened so far this year. One of the greatest things is knowing that there are other people with the same countdown as you.
