7 Months.

This little man is growing like a weed. He has a great personality. He's definitely working on getting a tooth. He goes through several bibs a day and he chews on EVERYTHING.

How lucky am I?
I'm quickly learning not to take anything for granted. Kingston changes and grows so fast, if I blink I might miss something.
I'm one Lucky Mama!

New phone. Yippee!

I got a sweet new phone!

Other than that..these pictures are ones I was having a little fun with from my sisters wedding.  I'm thinking about getting them printed and giving her and my mom frames with them.  Just thought I would share because they look neat.

Steve-O!

Last Friday our friend Katie had tickets to see Steve-O do Improv in Stapleton. Needless to say she wanted someone to go with her and she invited me. She was really excited and told me that she heard he did crazy things like tricks and takes pictures and signs stuff. I thought, "Ah, what the heck? Why not?"
I'm really glad I went! He's actually really funny. I had no idea that now he is a "vegan." He has been sober for 3 years and he even quit smoking. I was quiet surprised.
During the show he "rapped" with an audiance member who was "beat boxing." The audiance member was horrible to say the least but the wrap was pretty funny. He lit his own head on fire, he squeezed fresh lemon juice into his eyes, and balanced a butcher knife on his nose (crazy). After the show he took the time to take a picture with every single audiance member who wanted one and signed whatever they wanted.
All in all it was just fun so I thought I'd share it with all of you!

6 Months!

It's hard to believe this "Big Guy" has been the center or our universe for 6 MONTHS! He's such a talkative little boy, and he loves new people.
This is a picture from 2 weeks ago. I was laying him down for bed. He looks wide awake but don't let that fool you. No more than 10 minutes later he was out cold.
He's getting better at eating baby food. We have resorted back to Single Grain Oatmeal. (thank you Leah!) He likes it alot better than the rice cereal. I just started by mixing it with his milk, and then giving him the spoon to play with. Once he was putting the spoon in his mouth I mixed in a tiny bit of banana. (This boy loves Banana!) He's getting much better at actually swallowing! Once he squeezes his lips together I just put it away and try again the next day. It seems to be working. Once he gets really good, we'll practice with the other foods.

This car was such a smart purchase. He loves it. This makes tummy time alot more fun for all of us! He loves anything that lights up, plays music, and is LOUD! :-)
6 Month Stats:
26 inches- 25-50%
17 lbs- 50%
Favorite big kid food: Banana
Favorite Toy/s: Bath Ball, Moms Cellphone cover, Vtech Car, Remote
New tricks: spinning in his jumper, pounding on tables, switching hands, picking up things he's dropped, sipping from a cup, repeating noises.
New Noises: Squealing, growling, raspberries, and all variations of Ba, Na, Ma, Da, Ga etc..
New way to make trouble: He does this coughing noise when he wants attention or doesn't want to be in his crib, if you take something away from him he makes that same noise until you distract him with something new.

Time flys.....

On January 9th, Kingston turned 5 months young. 5 MONTHS! The milestones he's reached so far:
-Foods he eats (well Kinda): cereal (hates it), squash, sweet potatoes, banana, pumpkin.
-He laughs the cutest laugh.
-He's still sleeping through the night. :-)
-He loves his tongue and sometimes even makes noises with it.
-He is holding things in his hands and bringing them to his mouth to chew on them.
-He talks (baby talk) all day and has even started to "growl"
-Kingston can Roll over, back to front and front to back.
-He can sit up when assissted by a boppy, of course it doesn't take him very long to fall over.
-He is reaching! He wants anything we have and he's started putting his arms out when he wants you to take him. (I'm not sure if he knows thats what he's doing.)
I'm sure there's much more that I am probably leaving out. It's surprising the things that change from day to day. It seems like everyday there is something new.
We're incredibly blessed!
